About the Founder
Bhutan Precious Destination, a travel agent based in Paro Bhutan, was founded by Choki Wangchuk a tour and travel leader who had worked with the famed Amankora Bhutan for more than a decade, an internationally acclaimed luxury tour and hospitality company.
Mr Choki Wangchuk brings with him a wide range of expertise in the travel service bringing a personalized touch to the industry and adding a whole range of professionalism to add to your travel needs while here in the country. He is also well-versed in Bhutanese history, culture and Buddhist philosophy and speaks five local dialects in addition to English, Chinese (Mandarin) and Hindi. His company has a ground crew of five trained tour guides and a fleet of luxury SUVs and buses.

Our Co-founder Mr. Karchung holds a diploma in tourism from SALZBURGER TOURISMUSSCHULEM-AUSTRIA, advanced level of mountaineering training in Nepal and guiding experience for the last 27 years in (Bhutan, Nepal, and India). Therefore he is one of the senior most guides in Bhutan, venturing for all who wish to tread the untreated path of Bhutan. He also writes itineraries for all type of tours in Bhutan if demanded.
